Get Involved With AVAC
Join the movement where service meets creativity.
At the American Veteran Arts Collective (AVAC), we believe every act of service deserves a new mission — one that empowers veterans to continue leading, creating, and inspiring.
Whether you give, teach, or partner, your involvement fuels the bridge between military service and the arts — transforming individual lives while strengthening the cultural workforce that gives our nation its voice.

Become a Mentor or Instructor
Share your expertise. Shape a future.
Our veterans bring leadership and commitment; you bring industry insight and connection. Together, you can change the trajectory of a life.
Career Readiness Mentor
Mentors guide individual participants through their career transition.
Mentors provide feedback on resumes, portfolios, and interview preparation, while serving as trusted allies through a period of profound change.
Each hour you share strengthens a veteran’s confidence, professional readiness, and sense of belonging.
Time commitment: 1-2 hours a week per participant during active cohorts
Transition Readiness Instructor
Instructors teach AVAC’s 10-week curriculum — leading group workshops and discussions that prepare veterans for success in the arts and creative industries.
TRIs are professionals with experience in museum management, arts administration, production, or creative entrepreneurship who believe in the transformative power of mentorship.
Each session you lead helps veterans build confidence and professional networks in the cultural sector.
Time commitment: 2-3 hours per week during active cohorts
Corporate Partnerships & Cohort Sponsorships
